The TMA-2 COLORS Edition is a version of the modular TMA-2 headphone system created with the COLORS platform. It combines the S04 speaker unit, the H06 Bluetooth headband and the E04 over-ear earpads. The sound is described as vibrant and powerful, and the closed ear cushions give high isolation for long or critical listening.
The S04 speaker unit uses a neodymium magnet, a Japanese voice coil and an ultra-lightweight 40mm PET diaphragm, supplied as a pair. The E04 earpads are memory foam covered in soft vegan leather, which adds a low-end boost for a warmer sound. The H06 headband gives about 20 hours of playback and has a built-in microphone.
Wireless audio runs over Bluetooth 5.0 with SBC and AAC codecs, and the headband charges over USB-C. A 1.5 m straight cable with a 1/4 to 1/8 screw-on adapter is also part of the set, so the headphones can be used wired. Because the system is modular, each part can be replaced or swapped for another combination.
