The Sub12 is an active 12-inch subwoofer that extends near- and midfield monitor systems down to 22 Hz. It suits studios that need controlled low end and high output from a ported cabinet, with an output for adding further subwoofers.

The Sub12 uses a 12-inch paper-cone woofer with extended cone travel and a heavy-duty voice coil, built for a bass reflex enclosure. The port is a large down-firing tube, sized to keep airflow noise low. Rated amplifier power is 200 W RMS and 300 W music, and the response runs from 22 Hz to 150 Hz with peak SPL of at least 115 dB at 1 m.
The built-in PWM amplifier is described as more than 90% efficient and able to run through demanding material for long periods without overheating. Crossover frequencies are adjustable between 50 and 150 Hz, and total harmonic distortion above 60 Hz is 1% or lower.
Signals arrive on the rear panel through balanced XLR or RCA analog inputs. An extra output allows several subwoofers to be cascaded in one system. The cabinet weighs 26 kg and ships with a power cord and manual.
