The P33A is a powered (active) studio monitor made by ADAM Audio for monitoring in recording and mixing work. The maker has moved it to its archived range and no longer produces it, so units now appear on the second-hand market.
ADAM Audio names the A77X as the direct successor. That model carries the innovations of the company's AX Series. Anyone comparing a used P33A with current stock can use the A77X as the reference point within the same maker's range.
Supporting material for the P33A is still available from the maker. It includes a user manual and two press review PDFs: a German review from Production Partner and an English review from Sound on Sound. Detailed technical data is not listed on the archived product page, so check the manual for connections, drivers and amplifier details before buying.
