GTC55
Compact three-way home cinema loudspeaker with one X-ART ribbon-style tweeter and two 5.5-inch midwoofers. It is the smallest model in the Grand Theatre Components series and suits front-channel use in a home theatre.

The GTC55 is the smallest speaker in ADAM Audio's Grand Theatre Components range for home cinema. It pairs a single X-ART tweeter, handmade in Germany, with two 5.5-inch woofers that use carbon, Rohacell and glass fibre cones. The crossover point is 3000 Hz, and the stated frequency response runs from 45 Hz to 50 kHz.
The X-ART diaphragm has an area of 2420 mm² with a 4:1 velocity transform ratio and weighs 0.17 g. The speaker is rated for 120 W / 180 W power handling, 86 dB efficiency and 8 Ohm impedance. Maximum SPL is 106 dB with a sine wave from 100 Hz to 3 kHz at 1 m, and 114 dB per pair.
Connection is by banana-type analog terminals on the rear panel. The cabinet measures 505 x 206 x 316 mm, weighs 11.2 kg and ships with a manual. A 10-year warranty is stated, and a hood is shown in the product gallery. Larger GTC77, GTC88 and GTC Sub models are listed as related products.
