The Classic SW260 MK3 is a single-driver active subwoofer with a 10" (254 mm) paper-cone woofer and a built-in Class D amplifier rated at 200 W RMS and 300 W music power. It is meant to add low-frequency extension and control to a stereo setup or to serve as the bass channel in a larger system such as 5.1, and it is styled to match the other Classic family models.
The rear panel offers several adjustments so the sub can be fitted to a room and a set of speakers: a level control, a phase switch (±180°), a variable crossover frequency from 50 to 150 Hz, and a switchable 85 Hz high-pass filter for the satellite output. Input sensitivity is adjustable from -60 to +6 dB with a 10 kOhm input impedance.
The cabinet measures 500 x 300 x 400 mm and weighs 21 kg. Finishes shown include Cherry, Black Glossy and Walnut, with an optional front cover (hood) supplied in the box alongside the power cord and manual. The manufacturer gives a 5-year warranty.
