Classic Center MK3
A center-channel loudspeaker from the ADAM Audio Classic MK3 series, built for home multichannel systems. It uses an X-ART tweeter between two 7.5-inch HexaCone woofers and is sold in an active version with built-in amplifiers and a passive version.

The Classic Center MK3 is the center-channel member of the Classic MK3 range, designed to sit alongside the series subwoofer SW260 in a multichannel setup. It uses the same driver complement as the Classic Pencil MK3: a single X-ART tweeter flanked by two HexaCone woofers, which is intended to give a consistent sound character across the front channels. The crossover points are 150 Hz and 2400 Hz.
Two versions are offered. The active model has a PWM amplifier for each woofer (200 W RMS / 300 W music) and a class A/B amplifier for the tweeter (50 W RMS / 100 W music), with a 10 kOhm input impedance. The passive model is a 4 Ohm design rated for 200 W / 300 W with efficiency of at least 89 dB/W/m, and uses a bi-wiring terminal.
Both versions share a 9 x 22.5 x 12 inch (230 x 570 x 300 mm) cabinet weighing 15 kg, available in Black glossy, Cherry or Walnut. Frequency response is 35 Hz - 50 kHz for the active version and 38 Hz - 50 kHz for the passive one. A front cover is supplied with both.
