Synthbox
A 4-note polyphonic synthesizer in a 26 HP Series 1 Eurorack module with a touchscreen, for players who want wavetable and waveform synthesis in a modular rack. It can be played from MIDI or CV and has been discontinued as hardware; its functionality now comes as firmware for the bitbox mk2.

Synthbox is a four-voice polyphonic synthesizer built into a Eurorack module. Each voice combines wavetable and waveform oscillators with two filters, two envelopes, two LFOs and a step sequencer. A touchscreen is used to pick and shape waveforms, set up modulation and apply the global flanger, distortion and stereo delay effects. Converters and internal processing run at 24 bit.
The module can be played from a MIDI controller, with velocity, pitch bend and mod wheel supported, or from CV sources using pitch, gate and three assignable modulators per voice. Control is semi-modular, mixing on-screen modulation with hard-wired CV inputs. Output is either a stereo mix or individual voice outputs.
It ships with 50 presets and 100 wavetables, and user wavetables can be loaded from WAV files. As a Series 1 module, it can run other Series 1 firmware, such as bitbox or fxbox, through downloads from the maker's forum. The maker no longer sells it directly; the same functionality is available by loading synthbox firmware on a bitbox mk2.
