The lemondrop is a small desktop granular synthesizer with four-voice polyphony built around two granulators and one oscillator. Sounds are shaped with two filters, two envelopes, two LFOs and a modulation sequencer, and a touchscreen X/Y pad lets the player morph parameters by swiping. The 2-inch screen, two knobs and four buttons handle patch editing.
Two effect slots offer six effects: flanger, distortion, chorus and phaser in the first slot, and delay and reverb in the second. It ships with 153 presets and 311 wave files, and custom wav files can be loaded from a micro-SD card. An audio input lets external signals pass through the effects and mix with the synth output.
Connections are 3.5 mm: mini TRS MIDI in and out, line in and line out, and a mini TS clock input. It is powered over USB-C, so it can run from a USB power source away from the desk. MIDI control from an external controller is supported for hands-on playing.
