Fxbox is a 26HP Eurorack performance effects module with two effect chains drawing on 16 real-time effects, controlled from a touch screen, knobs and external modulation. It suits live players and producers who want remix-style effects in a modular rig.

Fxbox processes a stereo signal through two effect chains, each of which can combine up to 16 effects: pitch shift, distortion, bitcrusher, filter, chorus, phaser, flanger, ring modulator, freeze, loop, reverse, vinyl, gater, panner, delay and reverb. The touch screen can isolate individual effects for building layers, and an XY pad adjusts two aspects of the sound together.
An internal step sequencer allows rhythmic, remix-style effect patterns. Fxbox follows an external clock signal or MIDI to stay in time with other gear. It ships with 50 factory presets and supports an unlimited number of user presets.
On the back end it has a stereo input and stereo output, MIDI for timing and effect triggering, a clock input, and a reverb wet send. As a Series 1 module, its firmware can be exchanged for bitbox or synthbox firmware, and newer fxbox firmware can be downloaded from the maker's forum. The maker no longer sells it directly; the same functionality is available as firmware for the bitbox mk2.
